Installing panda antivirus without the cd?

Postby Gnurlyik » Sun Feb 28, 2010 10:10 am

...My screen saver didn't come on and the screen went black and said something like 'video driver and 3-D wasn't up to date', so I went to Intel and updated driver and ran some kind of program. My Avira Anti virus come up saying I had malware, I cleaned it. Checked to see if my screen saver came up, it didn't. So I tried system restore, didn't work. restored for an earlier time, didn't work. What is wrong and how can I fix it...without using my recovery disks which it looks like i will have to do. I've used recovery several times (E-Machines 7-disk recovery) cause people have got on here and got viruses on here. I feel doing Recovery so many times is straining my computer and I don't want to keep doing it. This is probably another spam post...but as a tech I feel obligated to reply to this...

First of all...why are you installing that piece of shit antivirus?
Second....you don't need a new motherboard...you need a new computer! You have a fucking emachine...throw it the fuck out a window of a very tall building and go get a real computer!
Third...why would you think that Land of Bob is a place to get technical assistance?

If that doesn't help follow the second step but replace the emachine with yourself....Thank you and have a nice day
